Oh Boy! Oberto's 100-Calorie Jerky Bites
Beef jerky lovers will want to add these salty packs of protein to their beach bags, glove compartments and briefcases this summer. With a POINTS value of 2 per pouch, the Original Beef Jerky and Turkey Jerky Teriyaki pack a walloping 13 and 12 grams of protein, respectively, per 1.2-ounce serving—and with less sodium than their regular brands.
"While I don't consider myself a girl who normally reaches for beef jerky as a snack, I like the chewy meat for a salty nibble that kept me satisfied. Just carry a few sticks of gum for after to freshen your breath." – Diana Kelly, editorial assistant "I couldn't get enough of this snack. Spicy, meaty and delicious. Great single-serving-size bags. Totally perfect for sitting around the tube with the boys. Each man gets his own stash, and that's the way I like it. I've never liked an army of grimy hands plunging into the same food bag." – Jamie Gerardi, editor for WeightWatchers.ca and Weight Watchers Online for Men After downing a bag of the Turkey Jerky, my belly felt fairly full and I definitely didn't feel cheated in terms of POINTS values like I do with some other 100-cal packs. Packed with 12 grams of protein, these spicy little bits do a good job filling in the afternoon snack spot. This is something a guy can bring to a ball game or something a mom can pack for kids' lunches or her own protein-rich snack. – Jason Carpenter, men's editor
Snyder's of Hanover MultiGrain Products

New products come in 13 flavors with a POINTS value of 2 or 3 per serving size. Try the pretzels, sunflower chips, tortilla chips, tortilla strips, cheddar puffs and baked cheese crunchies. "I liked the pretzels. The multigrain gives them a more complex taste and texture than regular pretzels." – Amy Leibrock, copy editor "The Cheese Puffs are just like Cheetos…with a lower POINTS value." – Community user PRINCESSPLAID "I just returned from the market with a bag of chips for 4th of July…. I bought Snyder's of Hanover MultiGrain Sunflower Chips. For a 1-ounce serving, 16 chips, the POINTS value worked out to be something I consider reasonable for a holiday splurge." – Community user HURRYCANE
Popchips
These all-natural potato, corn and rice chips garnered raved reviews. Available in a variety of flavors—wasabi, parmesan, sea salt, cheddar, barbecue, butter-corn, salsa and parmesan-garlic—a 1-ounce serving size (about 22 chips) has a POINTS value of 2 or 3, depending on the flavor. They're well worth searching for; they're available at select grocery stores and online at Amazon.com.
"These chips were full of flavor and had a wonderful light crunch. I was pleasantly surprised by the volume of chips in the pack. You really feel like you're getting to eat a lot of them." – Amanda Genge, associate editor "Loved them. Rich-tasting, crackling with flavor and also offering a satisfying crunch. My particular favorites were barbecue, salsa, parmesan-garlic and cheddar." – Jamie Gerardi
Chex 100-Calorie Packs
We taste-tested the Chex Chocolate-Caramel pack, an almost dessert-like snack that disappeared quickly in our "testing" area. The 100-calorie Chex are available in Chocolate-Caramel and Cheddar flavors ( POINTS value of 2 per pack). Available nationwide.
"I love the rich flavor of this new Chex snack pack. It almost tastes like homemade caramel! My favorite way to eat this snack is emptied into a bowl with some ice-cold skim milk." – Amanda Genge "I loved the chocolate-caramel Chex mix. The sweet-crunchy combo totally hit the spot." – Leslie Fink, nutritionist/recipe editor
